At Aden, we believe that the mind and the body are two sides of the same fitness and wellbeing coin. We offer holistic facilities to improve the health of both. Our monthly wellbeing sessions are led by our Consultant Clinical Psychologist and delivered by our qualified and experienced mental health professionals. They draw on sound psychological knowledge and principles to teach you how to use evidence-based techniques to feel good mentally as well as physically.

Knowing that women have particular needs, we have a program of specifically tailored events. Our sessions include general wellbeing such as managing mood and anxiety as well as particular challenges for women including menopause, body image, pain due to conditions such as endometriosis, and pre- and post-natal wellbeing. We teach you evidence-based psychological techniques to help you feel better about yourself, reduce stress, manage moods and overcome the challenges of difficult times.

In partnership with the physical side of health, we want to deliver the holistic wellbeing service you want and are open to suggestions about events for mental health and wellbeing. If we think your ideas will appeal to other women, we will design a bespoke event.

Because Aden is set up and run by Clinical Psychologists and other qualified mental health professionals, we can offer an easy referral route into private psychological services. So, if you feel you need individual therapy rather than or as well as the wellbeing groups we offer, let us know and we can discuss your options with expert knowledge and discretion.

We will learn how our thoughts, feelings and behaviors influence the way we feel and how we can use these things to feel better.

JULY

Managing Mood

We will look at how and why we feel down at times and consider how to improve mood and keep it steady.

AUGUST

Stress and Anxiety

What they are all about and how they affect us. We will teach and practice evidence-based techniques to reduce the impact on our lives.
